Privacy Policy

ETCHlo is a sketching app. Your drawing happens locally on your device. If you choose to generate an AI image, your sketch and selected options are sent to our server and then to an AI provider to produce your result.

1) Information we collect

• Sketches and inputs you choose to submit for AI generation. When you tap to generate, we process your sketch image and any text/options you selected (style, notes, etc.).
• Basic technical data. When using online features, we may process basic request data (such as IP address and standard server logs) to operate the service, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse.
• Advertising data (rewarded ads). If you watch rewarded ads, advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may collect device and advertising information to serve and measure ads and to help prevent fraud.
• Purchase data (in-app purchases). If you buy tokens or other items, Google Play processes payment. We receive purchase confirmation/entitlement information so we can deliver what you bought.
• Support communications. If you email us, we receive the information you include.
• Sharing. When you use the share feature, the image is created on your device and shared through your device’s share options. We do not receive the shared image unless you send it to us separately (for example, by emailing support).

2) How we use information

• To generate and return AI images you request
• To deliver purchases and restore entitlements
• To show rewarded ads and measure ad performance
• To prevent abuse and maintain service security
• To troubleshoot and improve reliability
• To respond to support requests

3) AI processing

When you request AI generation, your sketch and prompt/options are transmitted to our server and then to a third-party AI provider to generate the result. Do not include sensitive personal information in your sketches or prompts.

4) Data retention

• No user accounts / no server gallery. We do not operate a server-side user gallery for your sketches or results.
• Processing + minimal logs. AI requests are processed to produce your result. We may keep limited technical logs (such as timestamps and error information) for a short time to operate the service and troubleshoot issues. We do not store your full prompt text or your sketch image content in server logs.
• On-device storage. Your sketches and token balances may be stored locally on your device (you can remove local app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app).

5) Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate ETCHlo:

• AI service providers (to generate the images you request)
• Advertising partners (for rewarded ads)
• Google Play (for in-app purchases and entitlement handling)
• Service infrastructure providers (hosting and delivery)
• Legal/safety (if required by law or to protect users and our rights)

We do not sell your personal information.

6) Children’s privacy

ETCHlo is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7) Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy over time. We will update the effective date at the top when we do.
