ETCHlo is a creative sketching app. You can draw locally on your device, use drawing tools, try Daily Challenge ideas, and choose whether to transform a sketch using AI-powered image generation services.

This Privacy Policy explains what information ETCHlo may collect, how it is used, and how you can contact us about privacy, account, wallet, or data deletion requests.

Important note about sketches and AI generation

Please do not include sensitive personal information in sketches, notes, prompts, or images that you submit for AI generation. If you choose to transform a sketch, the sketch image, selected style, notes, and related options may be sent to ETCHlo servers and to third-party AI image generation providers so the result can be created.

1) Information we collect or process

Sketches, images, prompts, and app inputs

Sketch images and canvas content you choose to submit for AI generation.
Style choices, prompt notes, Daily Challenge text, and generation options you select.
Generated image results returned to the app.

Wallet, token, and purchase information

ETCHlo wallet IDs, support IDs, token balances, and token transaction records.
Google Play Billing purchase information needed to verify purchases and credit HD tokens.
Ad-supported token activity, such as rewarded ad completions used to grant app credits.

Optional sign-in information

If you choose to use Google sign-in, ETCHlo may receive basic account information needed to identify your account, such as your Google account ID and email address.
Google sign-in is optional and is used to help sync purchased HD token balances across devices.

Advertising and analytics-related information

ETCHlo may use rewarded ads and related ad services. Advertising partners may process ad identifiers, device information, approximate location, ad views, ad interactions, and diagnostic information according to their own policies.
We use this information to show rewarded ads, confirm ad rewards, prevent abuse, and keep the app working properly.

Technical and support information

Basic server logs such as IP address, request time, device or browser information, and error details.
Crash, performance, diagnostic, or troubleshooting information.
Emails or messages you send to support, including your email address and the contents of your request.

Some drawing drafts or saved images may remain only on your device unless you choose to submit, sync, share, or otherwise send them outside the device.

2) How we use information

To provide sketching, Daily Challenge, AI transformation, saving, sharing, and store features.
To process AI generation requests and return generated image results.
To manage ETCHlo wallet IDs, ad tokens, HD tokens, and purchase entitlements.
To verify Google Play purchases and prevent fraud or abuse.
To provide optional account syncing through Google sign-in.
To show rewarded ads and grant rewards after eligible ad views.
To respond to support, privacy, account deletion, and troubleshooting requests.
To improve reliability, security, performance, and safety of the app and backend services.
To comply with legal, platform, security, or policy requirements.

3) When information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. ETCHlo may share or process information with service providers only as needed to operate the app and related services.

Information may be processed by or shared with:

Hosting and backend service providers used to run ETCHlo servers.
AI image generation providers used to create transformed image results.
Google services used for optional Google sign-in, Google Play Billing, and rewarded ads.
Support, security, fraud-prevention, diagnostics, or infrastructure providers.
Authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, safety, or platform requirements.

If you use your device share sheet, save an image, or send an image to another app or person, that sharing is controlled by you and by the receiving app or service.

4) AI-generated content and safety

ETCHlo is designed for creative, family-friendly sketch transformations. We may use content filtering, prompt checks, provider safety systems, and abuse-prevention tools to reduce harmful, illegal, sexual, hateful, violent, or otherwise inappropriate requests and results.

AI-generated results may not always match your expectations. If you receive a result that you believe is inappropriate, offensive, unsafe, or a policy concern, please contact support@etchlo.com.

5) Children and target audience

ETCHlo is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age of majority should use ETCHlo only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.

Please do not submit sketches, notes, prompts, or support requests that contain sensitive personal information about children or other people.

6) Data retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the app, managing wallet/token records, troubleshooting issues, preventing abuse, complying with legal or platform obligations, and resolving support requests.

Some information, such as purchase, billing, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or platform records, may need to be retained longer where required or permitted.

7) Account and data deletion

ETCHlo users may request deletion of their ETCHlo wallet/account data. Please visit our Account & Data Deletion page for instructions.

To help us locate the correct wallet/account record, include your ETCHlo Wallet ID or Support ID if available. If you used optional Google sign-in, include the Google email address associated with the ETCHlo account.

When a deletion request is completed, ETCHlo will delete or anonymize account/wallet records controlled by ETCHlo, including associated token balance records and stored app data where applicable. ETCHlo does not control records managed directly by Google Play, such as Google Play purchase receipts or payment history.

8) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by ETCHlo. Data sent between the app and ETCHlo services is intended to be encrypted in transit using HTTPS or similar secure transport.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Your choices

You can use basic sketching features without Google sign-in.
You can choose whether to submit a sketch for AI generation.
You can choose whether to watch rewarded ads.
You can choose whether to buy optional HD tokens through Google Play Billing.
You can contact support to ask questions or request deletion of ETCHlo wallet/account data.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as ETCHlo changes. When we update it, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of ETCHlo after an update means the updated policy applies to your use of the app.
